Scouting Report:

DeWayne is an extremely athletic player who has the ability to play the small forward or power forward position. He has three-point range and the ability to put it on the floor and finish in traffic.

-- Bobby Champagne, Head Coach, North Alabama

This guy was a man amongst boys at the Atlanta ESL. He is a highlight film waiting to happen and is super athletic. He blocks shots extremely well, rebounds the ball, shoots well from the perimeter, passes well, and plays good defense. He has a nice all around game with high energy. He led his team to the ESL Championship game. He would be a good player for Italy, France, Germany and most other countries in Europe.

Playoff and All Star Update

04/08/2010 14:16
After the first half of the playoffs, Kayl finds themselves securely in 1st place with a 4-1 record. The second half of the 10 game post season starts this Sunday with them facing fellow contender Mamer. A win would almost certainly guarantee a top 2 finish and a move up in...

Playoff Win!! (95-77)

03/01/2010 02:15
Playoffs have begun for every league in Luxembourg. The Kayl Red Miners were able to take a commanding lead in the race for the championship by defeating strong contender Mamer by 18 points. The game was narrowly contested throughout the first half. Strong starts from Cedric Demontis and John...

115-38.....

01/30/2010 22:42
Yes, the title of this news article IS the score of my latest game. In the Kayl Red Miners' regular season finale we faced the worst team in the league, Diekirch. It was apparent that this was going to be a blowout from the beginning, with Kayl starting on a 33-0 run. The turnover fest continued...

Luxembourg Update

01/24/2010 21:44
After two games here in Luxembourg, the Kayl Red Miners have a 5-4 record. We are 1-1 since my addition. On Sunday, in my 1st game, the team struggled from the field and with turnovers. We fell by 12 points to the 2nd place team, Mamer.  Stat Line: 11 pts, 10 reb, 14 ast, 2 blk, 2...

Florida Thundercats

11/23/2009 15:41
Leesburg, FL--      I'm now down in Florida. Enjoying the sunshine. The new team I'm with is the Florida Thundercats. It's an ABA team in it's first year. The team is coming along nicely. We're looking to have a good season. I hope to put in work here and help the team...

It Feels Good...

05/16/2010 21:28
It has been a while since I updated my site. I've been working on a few other things. But now I come to you as the season has ended. We played our last game yesterday against Kehlen. It  was a resounding win in front of our home crowd. The championship for us had already been decided,...

All Star Night

04/08/2010 14:26
All Star night out here in Luxembourg was a lot of fun. It's been a LONG time since I've been in front of a crowd that big. It felt great. The atmosphere was ridiculous. I took part in the 3PT shootout and the Dunk Contest. Even though I kind of did the 3PT point thing for fun, I did really...

Step One... Check

03/01/2010 02:23
It's come down to that time: Playoffs. Time to prove my worth and help the team win this championship and move up to the next league. We took a MAJOR step toward that goal on Saturday night (2/27). One of the only other contenders for the championship, Mamer, came to our house to start the...

Chance for Redemption

01/24/2010 21:51
I have been given a 2nd chance here in Luxembourg. The coach brought me out here for the sole purpose of making the playoffs and getting a chance at the championship. The 1st step to making the playoffs was winning in our game Sunday. And I feel my play led to a direct failure in that goal. We lost...

On to the Next One

01/04/2010 04:58
2009... It was a roller coaster of a year to say the least. I started on a high, making good money with the showmen of the Harlem Superstars. I then hit an even higher mark when I rolled the dice on a tryout with the IBL in early April and made a team. It was a large gamble, but I found...

Thanksgiving

11/26/2009 21:07
With basketball being a holiday sport, I'm used to getting little or no time off to celebrate Thanksgiving. I thought that this year would be especially bad though, because I'm in a brand new situation and didn't anticipate having any friends/family to enjoy a good...

Anxiously Awaiting...

11/24/2009 11:36
Today is November 24. Our first game is December 4th. I'm so ready to get back in a jersey and play this game. I haven't played where it counted since my games in the IBL this summer. After the Romania situation, I thought I might never get another chance. But God has blessed me with yet...
